Multiple proTection
(2026) mixed media

The work refers to Toli, a traditional Buryad shamanic mirror associated with protection. According to traditional beliefs, it reflects negative intentions and wards off malevolent spirits, protecting its wearer.
Living in today’s historical context, I increasingly feel how insignificant and fleeting human existence is compared to something eternal.

In Buddhism, the concept of emptiness does not carry the negative connotations often associated with it. Emptiness cannot be fully defined, yet it is inevitable. We will never know what will remain of us hundreds of years from now, or which artifacts will survive the passage of time. Perhaps artifacts can endure far longer than their creators

TOLI INSTALLATION
Installation,
Video performance,
mixed-media
The installation's form is based on an ornament that likely originated
from shamanism. Rethinking this object, I considered the mirror as an
individual's subjective perspective, merging into a larger, objective
one. A large mirror serves as a reflection of our world.
Made during “Blue Sun” residency.

Home series
(2023)
Acrylic on canvas
The series explores the loss of home and the discovery of a sense of belonging across the world. Inspired by the ancestral nomadic way of life, it reflects on the idea that home is not necessarily a fixed place, but the Earth itself, where we can feel connected to our roots wherever we go.
Map of Surealia (2020)
