Tactics for Survival in Uncertainty is a group exhibition by Corooted Collective exploring the everyday rituals and strategies people develop to navigate instability and existential anxiety.
It reflects on the tension between our desire for control and the fundamental
uncertainty of existence, asking what happens when we finally let go.

Painting and Installation
This work explores the inner world through an energy field represented as a transparent sphere surrounding a human figure. Rather than viewing negative thoughts as destructive, it presents them as catalysts for growth, suggesting that awareness and acceptance can lead to personal change. Set against an endless blue sky and green landscape, the work contrasts inner complexity with the calmness of the external world. Developed between 2024 and 2026, the work also takes the form of an interactive game, inviting viewers to engage with thoughts and
emotional impulses.

Inspired by the Wheel of Samsara, the work reflects on the endless cycles of birth, death, and rebirth as metaphors for recurring historical and personal patterns. The central circle evokes a mirror, where the personal meets the collective and the past reflects the present. Drawing from Tibetan painting traditions, the work reinterprets their symbolism and composition through a contemporary, personal perspective
